Design, well-being, and craftsmanship converge to create a more conscious way of living.

The Roots

Arno Studio was founded by Romano Oliveri, growing from the deep roots of a family story built on craftsmanship, integrity, and human connection.

Over forty years ago, Teresa and Franco Oliveri began commercializing fine Italian linens, and thirty-five years ago they moved to Tuscany to begin producing them directly, giving life to an atelier devoted to quality and authenticity.

What truly defined their journey, however, was more than craftsmanship: it was their belief in growth. They inspired those around them to evolve, to step beyond comfort, and to grow together, woven into the same fabric of dedication and humanity that shaped their work.

Arno Studio carries forward this spirit, expanding it into a wider, contemporary vision, where design, well-being, and art converge to create meaningful spaces, objects, and experiences that nurture presence and beauty.

The Vision

Building upon this heritage, Romano Oliveri pursued his own path, studying Environmental Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and deepening his understanding of how space, light, and materials can nurture human well-being.

From this exploration, Arno Studio emerged, not merely as a continuation of a family tradition, but as a design philosophy where interiors, objects, and atmospheres are conceived to restore balance, beauty, and presence..

The Founder’s Journey

As his design philosophy matured, Romano Oliveri began exploring how beauty, presence, and awareness could extend beyond the material dimension.
This inner search led to the creation of Arnosphere, a natural evolution of his journey toward holistic well-being and conscious living.

Through immersive experiences that blend breath, sound, art, and ritual, Arnosphere becomes a space for transformation, inviting people to reconnect with the Self, with Nature, and with others.

Sustainability as Awareness

At Arno, sustainability begins with consciousness.
Our first step is choosing a made-to-order approach, producing only what is needed, when it is needed. This allows us to minimize excess, respect natural rhythms, and celebrate the beauty of thoughtful craftsmanship.

We work closely with local suppliers and producers, selecting natural materials whenever possible and embracing a circular approach to design. Our research focuses on extending the life of what already exists, reusing recycled resources, production offcuts, and deadstock fabrics.

Some of our creations, such as the Arno Breath Mat, embody this principle. Although made from recycled polyester, both in the cover and inner padding, it represents a conscious use of existing materials, transforming industrial excess into a tool for well-being and regeneration.

Made in Italy, mostly in Tuscany, each piece is created with intention and care, combining natural elegance with sensory comfort. Beyond function, every object carries a quiet invitation: to slow down, to live with awareness, and to rediscover harmony between quality, time, and self.

“I believe one of the most widespread needs in today’s society is to slow down, to reclaim quality time for ourselves, and to live experiences that help us disconnect from digital noise and reconnect with the present moment, with ourselves, with Nature, and with one another.”
